Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Deku is an energetic and loving young Boxer mix. He gets along well with dogs at doggie daycare but does need to be the ONLY dog in the home as he resource guards with other dogs. He does have some prey drive and loves to chase and pounce on cats meaning he would be best as the only animal in the home. Deku enjoys walks and is currently in training for leash manners, not jumping, and basic obedience. He has not been around young children but due to his resource guarding with dogs (he does not guard with his owners) and energy we would recommend only a home with older children. Please help this boxer mix find his forever home!

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Jack is very VERY sweet and cuddly!! He loves everyone he meets including kids. I'm pretty sure he would be in heaven if he had his own person to sleep with every night!! He rides well in a car, but he isn't crazy about it (yet!!). He is not quite a year old and so far only rides to the vet but if someone rode him fun places I'm pretty sure he would learn to love it!! He is a rescue dog that has lived with us for 8 mos. We live in the country so when we take him for walks he stays with us, therefore he has not learned to walk on a leash. But he is pretty smart and could be taught fairly easy. I don't think he has it very good in his ... (Read More)previous house because he gets very frightened if he senses agitation so he needs a gentle environment. He is house trained. He has never been alone on a daily basis and I'm not sure if he would be happy in a home where that would occur. He has always lived with other dogs and gets along well with them. He has never lived with a cat but I think he would be fine with it if they were properly introduced. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body so I just don't see him being mean to a cat!! He is around a year old. All of his shots are up to date (rabies due in August). His heart worm is up to date. I can provide vet records. Please call or text if you would like to meet Jack. (Less)

Boxer    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

I have a beautiful female Boxer. I rescued her when she was 1. I have had her the whole time. Unfortunately, due to where I had to move being military we can't take her with. Her playmate in the picture is Roxy. They have been inseparable, and she needs to be rehomed as well. If I could find someone that could take them both that would be amazing. Roxy is a Mountain Feist (terrier breed). I have had her since she was a puppy. She needs to be in a fenced yard, or put on a lead when going outside or she will jump anything under 6 ft fences. They are both sweet, loving, cuddly dogs. They like to play. I need to find a home asap for both because ... (Read More)I don't want to take them to a shelter. This is already heart breaking as it is for me. I will need you to pick them up because I don't have a car after being in a major accident 3 days ago. They will come with kennels, and bowls. I do keep them in their kennels when they are away from home, because they get anxiety if left out. At night I let them sleep in my room with me. Roxy has slept on my bed and the Boxer likes to as well but she knows that she has a bed on the floor. $250 is the Rehoming fee for the Boxer, and Terrier. If you can take both. This fee is to ensure that they get the best home possible. Thank you. (Less)

This sweet girl is approximately 3 years old. She was rescued from a very abusive home. When I got her she was severely malnourished, had cigarette burns on her body, and was afraid of her own shadow. She has come a long way but is still very timid. She loves to cuddle and give kisses and thinks she's a lap dog. She craves love and attention. I am heartbroken to have to give her up but with my current job and home situation I have no time for her and she is crated for long periods of time. It's not fair to her to be so isolated for long hours. She needs a loving home where she can have attention and companionship on a regular basis. ... Tucker is a 7 year old boxer/pit mix who has been in and out of our adoption program for the past 6 years!     Molly is a young female who is just all kinds of fun. She was rescued from a local kill shelter when her time was almost up. From the marks on her neck, it was obvious that she had spent her life on a chain. She has healed and the marks are no longer visible. While her breed is unknown, she looks to be a mix of some type of bully breed and possibly Boxer. Molly has average-high energy and would do best with an active owner. PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Virginia
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Virginia if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

Boxer
lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Virginia Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxer dogs are the sixth most popular breed in the United States.
