I have a situation with a boxer mix who was abandoned 2 years ago. My neighbor took her in, but is in over her head financially (she has a bit of a possible hoarding thing going on) and her health is declining. The dog is a female, not sure how old, but was a family pet. She is very good with kids, not so good with my chickens though. Another neighbor was supposed to take her, but was not keeping her in his yard, so she is back next door to me. She gets as much attention as my son and neighbor lady can give her, but she needs a forever family badly. I am trying to help as my husband said if she gets loose again, he will shoot her if ...     ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED Broux is a very sweet, no fuss kind of dog. He is very well behaved and loves his humans very much. He is good with other dogs, and great with respectful, older kids. Broux gets a bit carried away at mealtimes, and is therefor not a good choice for a home with toddlers. He does need to be fed separately from other dogs in his home. Broux is such a devoted companion. He loves going places in the car/truck, cuddling on the couch, and letting you know how much he loves you.     This is Izzy. She is an adult boxer/huskey. She is WONDERFUL! She is potty trained, and understands basic commands. We hate to see her go, but my daughter is allergic to her and i cant keep up with keeping it away from her. Izzy loves to snuggle but will go away if you tell her. She does not sniff the crotch area, jump, or bark. She is crate trained, but if you are gone she does not have anxiety issues. She will not tear up your house or potty inside.     Good day! My name is Vienna and I was abandoned in a rural area of Tennessee. I am now in a foster home, doing fantastic with house training and loving all the attention I am getting! I am about 2 years old (as of 4-4-17) and weigh 47 pounds. I love humans, especially children. With proper introductions, I like other dogs too. I usually just want to lick their faces! However, I can be reactive, so if there are other dogs around, I need them to be more submissive in nature. (RARE said they would do the introductions to make sure we all get along great.) I am curious about cats, so I'm still trying to figure out if they should be in my family ... (Read More)or not. Please ask when applying for me if I have gotten more familiar with them. I absolutely LOVE all people and every time I get pet or loved on. It is so amazing to be free and I show how grateful I am every day. My adoption fee is $85.00. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Tennessee
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Tennessee Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
