DNA Results are in! Gwen, whom we though was for sure a rotti mix is actually a Shepherd/Boxer! Not that it really matters because she is AWESOME! She came to rescue pregnant and delivered 9 puppies that she did amazing raising. Now, they are weaned and preparing for their forever homes but will she find hers? How awesome if she found hers before them! Does that EVER happen? Let me list the reasons why it should. 1 - She's fantastic 2 - she's gorgeous 3 - Gwendolyn is a big cuddle bug 4 - She does well on a leash 5 - She does great with other dogs 6 - She is great around children 7 - She is great around cats....seriously. 8 - She LOVES tennis balls and to play fetch 9 - She listens well 10 - Well, you get the idea, this dog is great. Gwen deserves an amazing long term family. She was found as a stray and deserves a stable, loving home that will keep her safe the rest of her great life. She is vet estimated at 3 years old and weighs 80 lbs. If you want a calm, social, loving, large dog in your life, Gwen is the girl for you. If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Adoption fee is $175 and all residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed regularly and treated for any known medical issues. *breeds are not guaranteed* *If a yard is present, a fence is required. Boxer Dogs can make good pets in North Dakota if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.
