He needs a home with a lot of love and needs exercise. We love him, and are heartbroken to give him up, but we are moving to a house near a super busy road with no fence and we fear for his safety. Please contact us if you can give him a happy home. We love him so much! S

Rescue Me ID: 17-08-24-00134Brodie (male)

Boxer    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Brodie is a 7 year old boxer. He has a good temperament and very low energy level, especially for a boxer. He has always been a pretty good dog but recently he keeps using the bathroom inside. I highly doubt this is caused by a health problem. I believe he is doing it out of spite due to the lack of attention caused by our busy schedules.

Boxer Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet our girl Honey!!!!!!! She is a lover! Very well mannered and sweet girl. She will not jump on you at all, she prefers to sit on your foot. Loves to play in water and is a snuggle bug. She can be playful but not that much. She was never socialized with dogs so she does not know how to behave with them. It is suggested that she be an only dog or worked with a trainer to help her adjust.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Nevada
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Nevada Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895.
