This pup showed up at my house the other day he's really very sweet unless there is food around then he becomes very aggressive. I don't really know his name I've been calling him petey. I think he's around a year old and he looks like he has something other than pitbull maybe boxer. Not really sure, he could be a pure bred.

Needs a new home asap!!! Full blooded neutered male boxer. Between 10-13 years old (but still has lots of energy). Shots are all up to date. Very sweet & loving dog. Loves kids, other animals, car rides, & is trained to not roam when off a leash. He is a 'special needs' dog.. he has separation anxiety bad. So, he needs a family who can give him lots of attention & that isn't away from home all the time. I recently started working & can't take care of him as well now, so I want to find him a good home to go to for the last few years of his life.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Mississippi
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Mississippi if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Mississippi Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
