Rescue Me ID: 17-11-18-00367Rosie (female)

Boxer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Spayed

Very sweet, loving, well trained girl (crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands). Very friendly. Has separation anxiety (cries when left alone). All she wants is to be snuggled and loves. Her favorite thing to do is give lots of kisses and make sure you are pleased with her. She is naturally happy she wags her tail so hard her whole body shakes! I really wish I could keep her, I just can't care for her and give her the attention she deserves. She needs a playmate at her new home, whether is be another dog or children or just someone with a active lifestyle. ***If for any reason things don't work out contact me and I will take her ... Animal ID: 7606Damsel (female)

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi. I'm Damsel and just like my name says I was a Damsel in distress when I hitched a freedom ride north on Saturday. I was scared, excited and unsure so was a bit jumpy. I was lucky a foster took me in, fed me and showed me love. I am a one year old retriever and boxer mix who weighs 40 lbs. I am settling in and doing fine in the crate, I do better when it's covered so I can't see what I'm missing. I like other dogs and love to play. I am looking for a family to call my own so I can settle down and be the great dog I know I should be.

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Bruno is a handsome male pit mix and is estimated to be around 1.5 years old. Bruno has been in foster homes since he was rescued from the shelter. Bruno attends pack walks and structured play groups to keep him well balanced and is respectful of other dogs and people. As with all of the dogs pulled into this foster based rescue, Bruno is learning his manners. He is crate and treadmill trained and knows his basic commands of sit, stay, wait. He is a medium energy dog silly and goofy. Bruno has been with our rescue since around May/early June and we would surely love to see this goofy boy in a home of his own, with people to call his ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Maryland
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Maryland Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Boxer dogs are the sixth most popular breed in the United States. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
