Rescue Me ID: 16-05-24-00191Bella (female)

Boxer    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Bella just turned 5 years old. She is great with kids (we have 8 ranging from 6 months to 24 years). She has been around other dogs and does great except when eating, she doesn't like being fed with other dogs. Sadly we are relocation to Florida with my husbands job and we cannot talk any pets. She is spayed and is due for her yearly check up. She is in great health. She is housebroken and has never been crated. She is a GREAT dog! This breaks my heart.

Boxer    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

Eva is a happy dog. She is undersized for her breed much smaller than most boxers. She gets along with other dogs and has lived with another dog for the last 2 years. She loves people and is a cuddle monster. Everyone loves her. She is well fed and in good health. She is kennel trained. House trained, leash trained and obedience trained. She will sit, stay, come when called, shake, jump, lay down. She is very emotive in her face. Loves car rides and the beach. She will make a great addition to any family. I've fallen on tough times and can no longer afford to give her the home she deserves. Plenty of pics/videos available, just ask.

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tank is very lovable and docile dog! That being said he is very high on energy! He has been a delight to have around my children and we are all heartbroken to have to part with him but our living conditions are not great so we are moving and the place we can afford won't let us bring our baby boy! He is amazing around people and unheard of with the kids! He let's them tug on him they can sit on him with no response hardly and his only downfall is he is a jumper and very excited when you return home!! Tank is NOT good with cats or other small animals at all! Also he does try to run out the door! We have taken him to doggie parks to play with ... (Read More)other dogs and he loves it! He is fully house trained. He will only sleep in the bed with someone he gets very sad and scratches and cries if you try to shut him out! He is about 1-2 already fixed. When walking on a leash he will pull very bad if he sees an animal so not best for kids to walk. Tank also loves taking a bath! (After in the tub) (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-20-00323Cinnamon (female)

Boxer Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Cinnamon was dropped off at a shelter when her family lost their home. They were devastated, and she was ruined. There was no life left in her eyes, just a shivering ball of terror hiding in the corner of a cement walled run, in a noisy shelter. She had given up hope, had shut down, and was certain she was forever forgotten. That is no way for any animal to spend their last moments - afraid and forgotten. We pulled this wonderful girl from the shelter, promised her she was safe, and gave her hope of finding a home of her own again. She has been patiently waiting for that home for months now. Seasons have come and gone, and still she waits, ... (Read More)with hope that glows so brightly in her once empty eyes. Cinnamon is a wonderful companion for any family. She doesn't enjoy the youthful energy of puppies, instead would like to spend her time cuddled on her bed, by your feet, or snuggled with you in bed. In her moments of extra fun energy, she loves to play tug, and will talk to you about her day. Literally. We can't understand dog, but get the meaning. If you're interested in our girl Cinnamon, head on over to our website and fill out an adoption application. RoundTableHaven.org (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Maryland
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

Boxer
lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Maryland Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
