Boxer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Dozer & Daisy are both in need of a home. They are siblings and will be 3 in May. Both have been fixed. They need to find a home to stay together with a large fenced in back yard. They are extremely loving dogs. I cannot keep them out around the baby and they are not getting the attention they deserve. They are kennel trained. They are very dependent on one another and often cuddle with one another. It would cause anxiety for both of them to be separated. Please only respond if you are interested in both Daisy and Dozer. They are both very sweet dogs and have never shown aggression; they are just too big and energetic to have around ... (Read More)a baby. (Less)

Khloe is a very lovable amazing dog. I love her. It was one of my dads dogs I took care of when he recently passed. I sadly don't have time to take care of her like I would like to. She needs to go to a good home! And also should be the only pet. She's good with people and kids, had some issues with other pets though so she would be the only pet. Please help! I just want her to be in a good home and loved.

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

NO dogs / NO cats Email - Intheclearanimalrescue@gmail.com 'Please share Cocoa's story. She's been waiting way too long for a home and would really love one for Christmas. 'Hi, Cocoa here! My foster mom told me that I'll maybe find some people interested in adopting me if I tell my story on Facebook and nice people share it around, so here goes nothing.. I've been looking for a forever home for 11 whole months! After six long months in a shelter, I was finally released by the court system and a nice woman with In the Clear Animal Rescue was able to break me out of the shelter. Honestly, I was there for so long, I never thought anyone was ... (Read More)ever going to come save me. I was taken away from my owner back in early December with four other dogs due to cruelty and neglect. I lived my life on a chain outside and was forced to produce litter after litter of puppies. It wasn't a fun life for me, but it was all I had ever known. I would of much rather been spending my time chasing balls around and maybe even laying on a nice couch. Of all the dogs taken, I heard people in the shelter say that I was in the worst shape and was severely emaciated. My head was concaved and sunken in. You could see and count every rib and vertebrae in my body. I was filthy dirty, covered in sores, and pot bellied from being so malnourished. My previous owner called me 'BOSS BYTCH', but I like the name 'Cocoa' a whole lot more. I was his main breeding dog, so he refused to sign me over and wanted to fight for me in the court system. I was so happy and excited when I heard the news that he didn't win me back. I didn't know what was going to happen to me, but the sweet shelter workers always whispered in my ear that they promised to keep me safe and that I would eventually find a great family to become a part of. All of the other dogs that were confiscated with me have been adopted, but I still remain in foster care where I've been for five months now. I really adore my foster parents, but will I ever find a forever home of my own? I'm hoping I'll find my special someone very soon, but like my foster mom said, we need your help to share my story. If you can't tell by this picture, I'm a smiley, friendly, and loving girl, kinda like a ray of sunshine that never dwindles or fades away, no matter what I've been through. I really love cuddling, belly rubs, car rides, and any outdoor activities. My foster mom calls me a 'wiggle butt' and I have to admit, I would, hands down, demolish my competition in a booty shaking contest. Even Beyonce, herself, would not stand a chance! I love every human, but I do need a home with NO other dogs or cats. I'm roughly 7 years old even though I act and feel way younger and I weigh 50lbs. I only weighed 36lbs on intake at the shelter, but I'm healthy now and it feels so great. I'm spayed (Yay! No more babies for me!) vaccinated, and micro chipped. If you're interested in giving me the awesome life I've always dreamed of, please email Intheclearanimalrescue@gmail.com to fill out an adoption application. My adoption fee has been lowered to $50. I'd really love to meet you! Did I mention I'm an excellent kisser?' (Less)

Boxer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This is our Dakota girl! She's a very loving, silly, sweet pit boxer mix who's been raised with our kids since she was 7 weeks old. One of our favorite quirks of hers is she will howl 'I love you' back to you and likes to plop down on her back, playfully growling, while wiggling around (She's a goof ball!). Our family and children adore her!! Unfortunately due to the type of yard we have, Dakota has turned into quite the escape artist and can jump higher than her short self leads on. We have battled with her need to run for a year now and after having her almost get hit by cars along with many phone calls from the animal shelter, our family ... (Read More)decided, we need to find her a home that has a better equipped back yard! (A 5 foot fence all around or higher) We put a fence up on one side but our other adjoining neighbors are leasing properties who's owners would not give the 'OK for us to place a fence up all around. However, our neighbors on our street have been amazingly helpful and patient but others in our neighborhood have made comments about shooting her. Even though she's never been aggressive, just simply likes to run. We are a very busy family and know truthfully we do not give her enough time at dog parks or walks that she needs since we can't let her run freely in our back yard. Our family wants to place Dakota in another loving home that will treat here like she's part of the family and take care of her in everyway. Dakota has had a wonderful life of TLC being spoiled rotten with bountiful amount of toys, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, current on preventive care, microchipped (homeagain services) and never left in any type of inclement weather, as well as allowed to sleep in beds, and cuddle on couches with the family. This is truly one of the hardest decisions our family has ever made but we fear even more of her ending up in an animal shelter or even killed by a car which we would never be able to live with ourselves. Please help us re-home this amazing girl with another family who will give her everything she has now and more! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Kentucky
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Kentucky if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

Boxer
lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Kentucky Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. The boxer was originally bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Boxer dogs are the sixth most popular breed in the United States. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
