We adopted Roxy from a animal shelter 8 months ago. She has came a long ways and knows several commands including sit, down, stay, leave it, kennel, sit pretty, high five, off, and outside. Roxy is completely house trained but sleeps in a kennel at night. This is heartbreaking and I hate to do this. Will explain why I'm finding her a home on the phone.

Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ranger is an sweet and loving Pitty mix, about a year old, and weighs 60lbs! He was surrendered to us in December for having too much energy, which wasn't his fault, he was a 7 month old puppy that was kept on a chain outside, instead of being inside with the family. Thankfully he was brought to us beginning of December, before the weather got really cold! Ranger is an active and playful guy to where he would unintentionally knock down a small child, so we prefer a home for Ranger without small children. A K9 companion in the home would also be a plus for Ranger. He loves to romp and play with friends, especially Hank! He is always ready to ... Sadly we have had only one serious inquiry for him, unfortunately the adoption fell through, none to Ranger's fault, just a simple change of mind on adopting. We are very heartbroken for Ranger! We are hoping his forever home will come along soon, a family or someone is really missing out on a wonderful dog! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Idaho
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Idaho Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Boxer dogs are the sixth most popular breed in the United States. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
