Miss Quila is not only one beautiful boxer girl, she is also well behaved, and while she may be shy at first with those she doesn't know - she loves her humans! Quila walks well on leash, is crate trained and housebroken. She does know a few commands but will need continued training. At night her favorite spot is on her bed at the foot of your bed, however I do not think she will complain if you let her share your bed. Miss Quila is ALL boxer and will need daily exercise. She loves to play with her toys-her favorite is getting her squeaker ball you throw for her. Quila does well with other dogs and is fine with cats. She would love ...     This big boxer boy is 3-yr-old J.D. (aka: Junkyard Dog). J.D.'s life before coming to us was a hard one. He rarely had human contact and was left to spend the hottest days of summer and coldest nights of winter at the end of a chain. Many of those spent without food or water and his chain often so tangled up he would be forced to lay in his own poop. Coming with us was a drastic change for J.D. and very scary. Never being inside of a house before, he would get very nervous and try to go through the slider to get outside. He would hide and avoid human contact. J.D. has come a long way in a short time. Today, he loves to be in the ... (Read More)house and is eager to learn how to be a boxer. He's got the boxer bean dance mastered with his new found excitement when he sees you. J.D. knew nothing so we've had to start from the beginning with him while at the same time not push him as he needed to get comfortable in his new surroundings. He's doing great with the other dogs--he sits back and watches them play but is starting to join in occasionally. We've went 9 days now with no accidents in the house. He is also learning to sit until his food bowl is down and told ok. J.D. is a big boy and doesn't know his own size so he would do best in a home without small children. He needs a family that is going to be patient, and committed to providing J.D. with continued obedience training as he learns to be a good boxer boy. Additional pictures of J.D. and adoption application can be found at www.idahoboxerrescue.com (Less)

Mr Max is the happiest, & most energetic 6-year-old boxer you are going to find. He can out go all the youngsters around him. When Max came with us he wanted nothing to do with anybody and preferred to stay in his crate all day. Slowly, as he saw we weren't going to hurt him he started coming out of his shell. Max is very obedient and eager to please. Seldom will you ever have to repeat a command to this boy. He does get a bit protective of his food so feeding him seperately is advised. Max loves the kiddos and will wear them out playing with them. Additional pictures of Max and other boxers available for adoption can be found on ...     Meet Zeus, a handsome 2-year-old brindle boy who is the life of the party. Zeus is your fun loving, silly, goofball that likes to turn everything into a game. Zeus is a very smart boy and does know his basic commands, however can be somewhat stubborn in listening to them. He is crate trained and housebroken. This boy has boundless energy and loves to go out and run laps around the yard, often with a toy in his mouth. Loves his stuffies but ofcoarse he has to de-stuff them. His favorite is playing tug of war with you or the other dogs. When he's not playing, he's always ready to roll over so you can give him some belly rubs. Zeus has ... (Read More)not met a person or dog yet that he hasn't liked. He would love to have a fur brother or sister to play with. He will even share his food bowl-but also thinks everybody should share theirs with him. He loves to go on walks and is pretty good on leash with very little pull. He is always ready to go for a car ride. Zeus would be great with an active family that will help him use up all this energy he has. PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Idaho
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Idaho if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Idaho Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. Boxer dogs are the sixth most popular breed in the United States. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
