POSTING A BOXER NEEDING RESCUE: Notify us of a boxer in need by emailing rescue@boxertown.com and including all of the following:
photograph(s), description, telephone numbers for yourself or the shelter where the animal is located, city and state, animal ID # if any,
and the date the animal needs to be adopted by. If you have any questions about boxers, please call Jeff at 1-800-800-2099 ext. 9696.
ADOPTING A BOXER: Each listing below contains the contact phone number and/or email address for the individual, shelter or rescue group
which has that animal. You must contact these individuals or shelters directly. Sometimes people might miss an email from you,
so it is best to call when a phone number is provided. If the animal is at a shelter, it is not always possible to get reliable
information by phone or email. Whenever possible, visit the shelter ASAP if interested in adopting a posted animal.

Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.
