Brindle boxer, spayed. Extremely sweet with wonderful personality. LOVES humans! Housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, likes and tries to please, not an excessive barker. Does NOT like small dogs. Chases cats. Snores at night. I adopted her from the pound - she had been picked up as a stray and was very ill. I nursed her back to health and I absolutely adore her. But I have a boxer mix female and the two are not getting along. Apparently boxer females cannot live with other females - only males. All Laila wants is a house and human of her own! I have a pit mix that I am trying to desperately find a home for. She has had all of her shots and is heartworm negative. She does great with kids and other dogs, not sure about cats. I saved her from the trunk of a car, pregnant. She has had her pups and they have homes, but I can not afford financially and space wise to keep her much longer. I have 4 other dogs, one of which is dying of cancer and does not care for her. I had her set up to go with a transport rescue and as soon as they saw her they said that they can't take her cause of her breed. I live in a county that kills pits, and DOES not adopt them out. There are alligators in this river...I have personally seen them and the dogs are starving! Both dogs are under one year old (just puppies!) The lab is a male and the boxer is a female who may be barely pregnant. She has an injury on the top of her head. This sweet boy needs a forever home. Someone dumped him near our house in the country. He was skinny and frightened when he came to our door. We fattened him up and began trying to find a good home for him. We already have 2 dogs. He's very loving and smart. He does great with other dogs and kids. I had him neutered and given rabies shot to improve his chances of finding a home and weed out those interested in dog fighting. Please spare him from the horrors facing this breed. Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.
