Rescue Me ID: 18-02-06-00358Madison (female)
Meet sweet Madison! She was trying to fend for herself on a rural highway and cars and trucks had to veer out of the way! Myself and another lady stopped to help her and she welcomed it! She was starving and oh so skinny so we gave her some food. The other lady's little dog jumped out of her car to join her and Madison paid no mind! She jumped right in my car and went to Animal control and lo and behold, she was chipped! That never happens! As I was heading out of town for a week, AC took her in on a stray hold and researched her chip. Come to find out she had been adopted from another rural County AC about 45 miles away two years prior. AC had no success reaching an owner so she became a sweet soul! Probably a good thing as she certainly wasn't being taken care of. If you are looking for just a quiet companion to take strolls with and watch a movie on the sofa with then this girl is for you!!! We prefer a fenced yard if possible so she never gets out and is on her own again! Madison is very sweet and an easy keeper and she would love a caring and loving forever home!!! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-01-12-00289Brandy (female)
Brandy is a beautiful brindle Stafford/Boxer mix. She is house and crate trained. She is gentle and plays nicely with other dogs and gets along well with cats and kittens. Something in her past has made her fearful of leashes and collars and she needs a calm environment and a patient owner. When she feels safe she loves to cuddle on the couch and get pet. When she is nervous she will go to her crate and lay quietly. She is a dog that will give a lot back to the person who gives her a good home. This dog is in Texas as we have limited CT fosters. The adoption fee is $400 and includes transport. Please complete an application on our website www.addicuslegacy.org. If you have any questions, or would like to get in touch with brandy's current foster please email email@example.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-07-28-00353Boris (male)
Boris is a very special guy. He was set to be euthanized 3 times but luckily had a stay of execution each time. Today that was not going to happen. He was going to die today. We were given his info by a friend and asked to take a look. We tagged him and gave him the second chance he deserves. He is at a temporary foster and is in need of a forever home. He is heartworm positive and has been started on a slow kill regiment. His heartworm meds will be provided when he gets adopted. He is very sweet and loves kids! He is healing from an unknown injury to his back end but you can barely tell and will be 100% in no time! He is a wonderful boy and needs a forever home!!! We have more pics and video of him on the Tess K9 Rescue, Pet Rescue Facebook page. Please foster, adopt, or donate towards his care! His adoption fee (adoption fee, transport fee, and health cert fee are included) is $275. He is Texas NOT in CT due to the lack of fosters in the area. If you would consider adopting this dog from Transport then please email us. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog!! We transport dogs to the New England area every month. firstname.lastname@example.org https://www.paypal.me/tessk9rescue (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Connecticut
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.
