|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-24-01140Susie (female)|
She is very frightened by loud noises and takes off often running over my yorkie. She did have the gum over growth but is on a health plan with Loveland vets that is 20.00 a month and 20.00 co pay. They did a work up and got her on year round heartguard and removed gum overgrowth and bad teeth included in plan. and vaccinated her. She was owned by people next door that left her in the cold made the dogs fight for food. She was emaciated when I first found her. She would get aggressive when the male mounted her or trying to fight for food and the man would kick her to get her off the male they had. Someone who had her previous had her bottom canines filed down. She has had a rough life but is being spoiled here until I can find the perfect home for her. I do home checks and there is a 60 day trial period and she comes back to me if there is a death or accident where she cannot be cared for. (Less)

|Animal ID: 455Frosty (female)|
Frosty Boxer mix Female 8 months old 40 lbs You're probably wondering how a warm and loving princess of a pup like me got a name like Frosty. Do I look like a snowman? Hardly! Do I give you a brain-freeze like those creamy things that humans order at Wendy's? No way! Do I cover your windshield on winter mornings and make you grumpy? Not a chance! Maybe my name came from my beautiful tan coat and velvety soft ears. I'm sweet and smooth, like your favorite butterscotch FROSTING. Mmmmmm. That's it! I'm in a great foster home now, but I sure would like a forever family who will be patient with me as I grow up. I'm smart and eager to please, learning my potty skills and getting more comfortable with the crate, although it does make me a little sad when I have to go in. I am, as they say, 'newspaper trained', but going outside for my 'business' is much more dignified, so I want to get that down! I'm a curious and energetic lover of a girl, but I can calm down when it's time to chill and snuggle with my people. I love toys and other dogs. I even chased a cat once! Oh, I didn't want to hurt the little fella - they're just fun to run after! Not much scares me except the trash bags shaking, or the paper that humans keep by their potty; I am not sure I like when it spins. What is up with that? I loooooove car rides! There's something calming about looking out the window while the world passes by. The best car ride I've had so far brought me to Colorado to meet my forever family - is it you? We should meet soon for a game of tug-of-war or a squeaky toy toss. If you decide that I can come live with you and be your companion for life, well that would just be icing on the cake! Please ask about me by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org, or filling out an adoption application today! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-10-00312Molly (female)|
Molly is a wonderful people dog, even a hospital therapy dog. She absolutely loves all adults and children. I adopted her a year ago at age 4. She has had encounters with a few dogs, especially little barky dogs and has responded aggressively. I have been asked to find a new home for her by the staff at my independent living facility. I have never had such a loving dog and know she will make someone very happy.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-13-00049Molly (female)|
Molly is learning the basics well. She knew 'sit, down, eat, treat & walk' and has learned 'back, up, off, and no/yes/stay'in verbal & ASL. She's a very bright girl. She has also learned how to catch treats mid-air... a trick, completely foreign to her just a week ago. Old dog... new trick(s). Myth busted! Molly sleeps on a couch all night with no problems. She can be trusted in the home, alone, without a crate. She has no food/toy/attention aggression with people. She has a quiet, brief bark (truly!) that's only heard if a new loud noise spooks her, but she is learning that many city noises are OK and normal. She is eager to go for walks & puts her funny pants on anytime she thinks it may be walk time! One look at the leash & she's on cloud nine! On walks, she is mindful & easily managed on a standard harness. Other dogs only really excite her when they are in her personal space. Dog parks are not for Molly. Molly prefers human females to males. She is submissive to all adults, but especially men. Hovering motions above her and quick movements around her can cause her to cower, but she is making good progress in understanding things are good - and that she is good :) She loves belly rubs and will snuggle with you most any time. Molly may thrive with a larger, male dog in her life, but seems content to also have the house to herself. Molly would love a home without smaller animals, cats, or other female dogs. She is an alpha-female, though you'd never know it in the absence of other pets. Molly will walk all day long, or will sleep all day long... she's easy to please. If you'd like to meet Molly, please fill out the online app today! Since I am a Pitbull mix, I can't be adopted or fostered in the following banned areas: Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, Commerce City, Ft Lupton, Lone Tree, or Louisville. Adoption fee is $80 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we cannot accept calls at this time. |Rescue Me ID: 14-08-12-00188Harley (male)|
Harley is a great dog. We adopted him and have had him since he was a little over three months old. However, he has anxiety that we've not been able to overcome. We took him to training and tried to crate train him (for he chews up the house if he is not crated) and he panics in his crate - sweat, barking, clawing. We do love him, he just has a on of pup energy like we've never seen with our other dogs. He needs a VERY large yard to run in and it needs to be enclosed with a high fence as he can scale anything less than 6 feet. He is great with our other dog, always wants to play and he is adorably cute. He'll make someone a great addition.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-04-09-00221LITTLE PETE (male)|
Little Pete is a 2 year old, 55 pound Boxer mix that looks to have some English Bulldog in him as well. He is a dead ringer for our volunteer's beloved Pete - that alone saved his life - but he is a sweetheart to boot. Good with other dogs, walks great on a leash, loves to ride in the car and behaves while doing it. He thinks his purpose on earth is to harass cats. Please give this cutie a second look. Adoption fee $150 donation to Dancing Dog Rescue. For an adoption application or additional information, please email email@example.com or call 3zero3-882-zero837. |PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Colorado|
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.
