Boxer Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Vaccinations Current

Buddy Fy is the complete package. Rescued from a shelter now living in Jacksonville, Alabama, Buddy is around 1 1/2-2 years old, 52 lbs, and a Boxer mix. He is potty trained, crate-trained, neutered, and current on all vaccines, and also on heart-worm medication/prevention. It breaks my heart to have to give him up but my new schedule just doesn't give me the time with him that he deserves.!Buddy is fantastic with other dogs, and quite low maintenance. He isn't a high energy dog so long walks and 20 minutes at the dog park will suit him just fine. But he's also fine with a day full of cuddling and giving kisses. He loves to have your ... (Read More)attention. Buddy means a lot to me so I won't give him to just anybody. The money isn't important to me, I just want him to go to a great home that's going to love him as much as I do. Also, I will include his crate and 2 months of heartworm prevention in the agreement. (Less)

Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hoagy is a very loving dog who has been in our family since he was adopted as a puppy. He is very friendly and good with people of all ages; he's also been around other dogs most of his life. He has always been an outside dog. He is living with my grandfather who is concerned that he can't take care of Hoagy well anymore. He loves to run and play and hunt, so it's a challenge to keep him in a fence. He's pinned up almost all of the time but would be much happier if he could have more opportunity to run and more attention. My grandfather is hoping to find someone who can take him.

Meet Lacey. After three years, I was surrendered by my family because I was not compatible with another dog in the home. I am a sweet girl who loves belly rubs. My favorite activity other than playing outside is to curl up on the couch and cuddle. By the way I do not like cats or other small critters.

I am a very sweet girl who was found as a puppy wandering the streets. Someone quickly fell in love with me and took me home, but due to some unforeseen circumstances could not keep me and had to return me to the rescue group where I have been living for the past year. I love to play with other dogs, but i can get rough and loud, but it's all talk. I do not do well with small dogs or cats!! I am a very good girl and know some commands but am a little stubborn so you will have to work with me some more so that I remember what I am supposed too. I am currently about 2 1/2 years old and would love to find my forever home.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Boxer in Alabama
Boxer Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. Boxer dogs are energetic, playful and intelligent animals, they like to clown around a lot and will keep you laughing. Boxers learn new things quickly, and, at the same time, can be clever and stubborn. Boxer dogs bond well with a family, are very affectionate and get along well with children. Boxers need a lot of exercise, and will be well-behaved as long as they are taken on long walks every day. If kept confined without a lot of exercise, however, boxer dogs can become destructive. Boxers require lots of human companionship and should never be left alone for long periods of time.

lnteresting Boxer Trivia Low-Cost Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinics
The name boxer originates from the fact that boxer dogs look like they are actually boxing when they play using their front paws. Boxers were first introduced at a dog show in Munich, Germany in 1895. Approximately 1 in 5 boxers are born white, and almost 20% of white boxers are deaf.
